Sugata Mitra: "Can kids teach themselves?"

Speaking at LIFT 2007,

Sugata Mitra talks about his Hole in the Wall project. Young kids in this project

figured out how to use a PC on their own -- and then taught other kids. He asks,

what else can children teach themselves?

I almost tuned off this video as the first part is slow but the hole in the wall project I believe says a lot about humanity in general and is worth the 20 min watch. In this video Saguta Mitra addresses the TED conference of very forward thinking scientific, technological and business people.

He was addressing the future of technology in our school system and that is what is talk is aimed at. In the Hole in the Wall Project he a wall with a computer in it connected to the internet in a backward part of the world. The he left for six months. What I see in his hole in the wall project is a direct evidence of several things the group talks about in the advancement of human evolution.

I see that some of these experiments show clearly how our technology is only a reflection of our collective vibration. I believe that if that same experiment took place 200 years ago (with the advanced technology of today) it would have produced different results. I see this also as evidence (Indigo and Crystal) that humanity is advancing and the children are being born at higher levels than even the previous generation.
