11:11:11 Day of Oneness

THE onE
 

Fifteen billion years ago,

Before the beginning,

In the Studio of Eternity

There was a blank canvas,

Nothingness,

Pregnant with the possibility of Everything.

Then – A MIRACLE!!

Our Collective Being

The Divine Artist – the Creator God,

Aching to express, to exist

Exploded itself/ourself into a cascade

A cosmic orgasm

Big Banged us into creation,

Perfect in ratios, rhythms, and forms.

The Universe is a storm of light emerging,

Ever birthing, ever dying

Plasma selves, atom selves, molecular

Conscious lumps of DNA

Ascending selves scaling evolving chains

Souls inside brightening,

Hardening into botanical and biological

Plant self, animal self,

Myself, yourself, ourselves,

Family selves, city self, nation self,

An earth full of eyes sees everything on

And we are that!

Planet self, star self, galactic self,

Self as galactic cluster,

Self as entire web of Cosmos

With amnesia.

Our current artistic dilemma is to wake

To the truth that we are the one Godself,

Creating the Universe – Everyday.

One is the most spiritual number and eleven is a pair of balanced ones.  A sense of oneness is the basis of sacred relationship to self, community, world and cosmos. The primal prayer of Judaism, the Shema, declares, "The Lord our God the Lord is one."  The Quaran states, "Whoso knoweth oneself knoweth Allah." oneness implies unity, affinity with others and the world, a sense of closeness.

Among the highest callings of a community is to join together in creating sacred space that honors the infinite onE. Sharing a vision of our mystic union affirms the possibility of a world transformed.  A sacred building is a revelation you can walk through, a visual conversation with spirit that is personal, interpersonal, and transpersonal outlasting the people who created it.  

All over the world people will gather on Friday, 1/11/11. At CoSM a special Full Moon celebration will honor the "Day of oneness." Some time ago, we hoped Entheon, an exhibition hall of visionary art, would open on 11/11/11. Alas, we now look to the opening date of the Autumnal Equinox 2012. on 11/11/11, we will share with visitors the history and proposed legacy of CoSM in the making.
 
Many dear friends will uplift the Day of oneness at CoSM including special musical guest Ken Jordan of The Crystal Method. Celebrating together builds a bonfire of loving, healing energy of oneness. Starting at 11 pm for 11 minutes we will OM a canopy of blessings from CoSM.   Come celebrate with us.
