What is Vastu (or vasthu or vaastu)

Vastu is one of the most ancient sciences of Indian architecture and is composed of specific rules, regulations and directions, set down by sages of the vedic times. For the modern society it is the highly evolved, comprehensive building philosophy.

A good quality bell : A bell made from brass or Tibetan bell works well.

An incense stick holder and incense stick : A Good quality incense sticks.

Rock Sea Salt : Traditional Indian space clearing item used to clear negative energy field.

Camphor : The camphor is a very powerful cleanser. It is the only natural substance that burns and leaves absolutely no residue.

Process of Space Clearing:

- Step 1: Remove all the clutter :- Clutter and dirt create stagnant energy and impede the flow of positive energy. Therefore, the first step is to be ruthless and go through cupboards and drawers and clear out everything that is no longer of use, as well as cleaning everything as you go.

- Step 2: Mopping the house with salt water will reduce the effects of negative vibrations. Add five spoons of unrefined sea-salt to the water and mop the floor with it.

- Step 3: At the time of space purification open all the door & windows including cupboards & its drawers for few minutes.

- Step 4: Put on all the lights & fans.

- Step 5: Start the music system. Play some soft music, use a relaxation tape, or consider buying a Gayatri or any other mantra tape.

Step 6: Start ringing metal bell in each & every corner of the premises. Also move burning incense stick while ringing a bell. Put the burning camphor in the prayer room.

The space clearing process will take few minutes. Ideal time for this process in early morning or sandhya kaal (evening).
