When we meditate, the energy goes to everyone close to us, particularly to our family. 

Even if they are not in the body and have passed on, they still receive the energy. 

As maharishi told us, "when we get enlightened, seven generations in the past and seven 

generations in the future will also get their enlightenment." Even if your family is not meditating, 

they are still getting the energy and growing towards their enlightenment!
